Lucky Me

I haven't blogged in a while, because there hasn't been much to say!  Two weekends ago, Chu and I got to take a trip to Columbia!  I miss that town so much!  It really felt like home and I loved getting to see my friends at Land Rover.  We went to Gervais and Vine for Tapas with Kerry & Oates stopped by!! Then Chu was still hungry, so we went to a sushi restaurant...yummy Camon, and Kerry & his coach hung out for a bit.  Good times, great friends!

E-rockin the bass

I love this picture!  I took it with my cell phone last night as Eric was practicing with his new Ernie Ball Musicman bass guitar.  The sound is awesome and he keeps getting better all the time.  He is giving lessons to one guy from church, and hopefully soon will be able to instruct others as well.  I don't even think he realizes how talented he is at playing instruments, especially bass and drums.  It is fun watching him practice and seeing that he loves his wedding/birthday present!

Imagine If

I found notes in a book, as I sometimes write my thoughts.  I kinda liked these thoughts, so I decided to share:

What if....

We could talk without fear of reactions?

We could listen without judgement?

We could learn without anger?

We could overcome pride?

We could erase doubts?

We could truly let God guide us?

Oh there is so much to say, but those are my random thoughts for the day!

Happy Birthday Jack Jack

Ok, Ok, I will admit it...the cutest kid in the world isn't mine!  My sister's oldest boy, Jack Jack just turned three and we went to his birthday party at La Bastide, near the mountains of Hendersonville, North Carolina.  Coincidentally, it was the last night that the restaurant was open to the public (and I ordered fish instead of steak...way to go Tori!)

Like most all kids, Jack was so excited about his birthday.  Especially since he loves cake so much!  When C.C. and Daddy Jack brought out a big Thomas cake with his name on it, he was so excited!

Jack Jack had so much fun playing on his new Thomas train that he got for his birthday!  He did not want to get off of it and his Aunt Tori pushed him over and over again and he could not stop laughing!

Thank you to all for looking at pictures!  Have a great day!

Oh, Jack also has a nineteen month old little brother who wants you all to know that his birthday is in November and he wants a Thomas cake too!!!  Brad loves Daddy Jack!
